With increasing numbers of suicides due to public harassment and shame by app-based instant loan providers, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar called on the public not to download instant loan apps not allowed.

He urged people not to download such a mobile app which requests access to contacts, files and gallery.

People have been warned not to fall into the trap of unscrupulous items, but rather to check the background of the company / business offering loans online or through mobile apps.

Noting that the names and addresses of NBFCs registered with the RBI are available on the RBI website, the officer suggested that the public could report information about unverified / unauthorized applications to law enforcement agencies. relevant law or use the RBI Sachet portal (https: // sachet.rbi.org.in) for online filing of complaints.

“Complaints against RBI-regulated entities can be accessed through the RBI Complaints Management System (https://cms.rbi.org.in),” Sajjanar said.
