New Delhi: Aam Aadmi (AAP) party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh lashed out at central government over India-China standoff and alleged Modi government had taken out a loan rupee 5,700 crore to China, as he called on people to boycott the neighboring country. .

Amid tensions over the Real Line of Control (LAC) with China, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy previously said there was a need to voluntarily boycott Chinese products in wherever possible.

Calls to boycott Chinese-made goods erupted across India after 20 soldiers died for the nation in a violent clash with Chinese troops in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley on June 15 and 16.

AIIB $ 750 million loan to India

On June 19, the Ministry of Finance announced that the Indian government and the Beijing-based multilateral financial institution, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) had signed an agreement for Covid-19 aid of 750 million. dollars (about Rs 5,688 crore) to India.

AIIB is a multilateral development bank whose mission is to improve social and economic outcomes in Asia. It started its activities in January 2016 and now has 102 approved members worldwide.
