This will be a fantastic event featuring a wide range of motoring related activities as well as hundreds of cars from throughout New Zealand.

Early indications are we will have a large international contingent as well.

The Vintage Car Club of New Zealand (Inc) hosted its first internationally rally in 1965. The 6th International Haast Rally wended its way through the newly opened Haast Pass Highway on the South Island's picturesque West Coast. The rally's great success trail blazed seven more internationals between 1972 and 2006.

The international world of vintage and veteran vehicles will become a smaller sphere when they gather in New Zealand's North Island city of Wanganui in January 2012 for another chapter to be woven into the colorful fabric of the banner we will have carried for 66 years.
